Important Considerations - Phones and Vehicles

Most safe home options - excluding transitional living - have a phone policy. Generally there is no cell phone use for the first 30 to 90 days. The phone policy is to protect you from being contacted by pimps or traffickers. It does not mean that you will not be able to contact safe people in your life from the phone provided in the home. Additionally, survivors that have a vehicle will likely need to find a place to park that vehicle. This is not required for transitional living homes. Your Rescue America Exit Team will be able to answer your questions concerning these safe home considerations.
